TESTING
Product feedback
Potential future testing with users who can provide structured feedback on workflows, usability, compatibility and product behaviour.
SAGE / EARLY ACCESS
Sage is pre-release. Vidran is not currently promising immediate access, a specific test build or a fixed launch date. This page creates a clear pathway for people and organisations that want to be considered as opportunities open.
TESTING
Potential future testing with users who can provide structured feedback on workflows, usability, compatibility and product behaviour.
DEVELOPERS
Interest from developers who may want to evaluate future APIs, tooling, application models or integration opportunities when those interfaces are ready.
RESEARCH
Research organisations, universities and technical partners interested in computing, security, interfaces or other areas relevant to Sage development.
PARTICIPATION FIT
Sage testing should become more valuable as the product matures. Different stages may need different kinds of participants and different forms of evidence.
People who can explain the work they are trying to complete, the friction they encounter and the consequences of interface or system behaviour.
People able to evaluate interfaces, integration assumptions, tooling direction and the clarity of future developer contracts.
Teams that can describe deployment constraints, support expectations, identity, device management and compatibility requirements.
Institutions able to contribute rigorous methods around computing, security, human-computer interaction or other relevant technical questions.
GOOD FEEDBACK
Describe the task, sequence and outcome rather than judging the interface in isolation.
Repeatable observations are easier to investigate and compare across builds.
Device, configuration, integrations and other conditions can materially change system behaviour.
Explain whether the issue affects clarity, time, reliability, security, compatibility or another operating outcome.
WHAT EXPRESSING INTEREST MEANS
Vidran may prioritise different participants at different development stages. Any future test programme should communicate confidentiality, risk, data handling, support expectations and software stability before participation begins.
BEFORE A FUTURE TEST
A credible pre-release programme needs a clear build identity, scope and feedback loop before external participants are asked to rely on it.
Testing should distinguish concept work, private development builds and any later public testing channel.
Participants should understand what diagnostic data, feedback or account information is involved before they begin.
Pre-release software should communicate known limitations and whether it is appropriate for primary, secondary or disposable environments.
Testing is more useful when participants have a defined route for issues, questions and structured product feedback.
